Blushing Pink and Bright Whites

Hey there lovelies! Today's photo story embodies spring.

I'm totally crushing on blush pink and greys this season. Lauren Conrad clearly had the correct mindset when she branded her Instagram filter with blush pink years ago. I'm finally realizing what a sophisticate and feminine colour it is. It pairs perfectly with greys and whites and even blacks. Grey is another colour I'm loving. It's your in-between colour that pairs perfectly with pastels. These two are your subtle neutrals that you can never go wrong with. I am defiantly filling my spring and summer with more pinks and greys.

Here are my outfit details:

Top: Club Monaco (also in love with this one)

Contemporary Mix - Suedes, Leathers and Sweater Weather

Hey there lovelies! Happy Tuesday!

Am I late the the thigh-high train because I recently got this suede black pair from Marc Fisher and I have not taken them off since. If this trend is over, then I'm sorry I'm not sorry, because I will not be taking them off anytime soon. I had always admired them from afar on other bloggers and thought that they were so chic and stylish, but I never took the plunge. I'm so happy that I finally gave in and bought my first grey pair and then bought this pair a few week after. I did not realize how versatile they could be. They pair perfectly with black skinnies, skirts, dresses and even over tights. If you haven't taken the plunge either, I suggest you get a pair!

Here are my outfit details:
Sweater: Banana Republic (similar here, herehere and here)
Skirt: H&M
Coat: H&M (also love this and this)
Thigh-High Boots: Marc Fisher (this is the flat option, if you don't like a heel)

Spring Transition with Saint Laurent

Hey there lovelies!

I'm pulling pieces from my winter wardrobe today and styling them for this spring season. I love off the shoulder tops and skirts for spring and summer, so I styled them with some essentials from winter. The perfect way to transition your wardrobe is through layers and adding layers to keep you warm on chilly days. If you have cold, unpredictable weather like mine in the Pacific North West, you don't have to compromise your spring outfit for it. Tights and a coat are essential in this case. You can lighten your layers as the weather gets warmer with lighter coats and jackets (like opting for dusters and blazers). Tights, blazers, dusters and light jackets are the perfect transitional element to pave the path for spring.

Here are my outfit details:

Top: Banana Republic (similar here, here and here)
Jacket: H&M (similar here)
Skirt: H&M (also love this and this)

Booties: Forever 21 (similar here and here)(also love these)

It's Plain and Simple - LBD and Grey Thigh Highs

Hey there darlings,

Today I'm pairing a classic blazer and LBD with a chic pair of grey thigh-high boots. This chic and effortless pairing is perfect for the spring season. The over-sized blazer adds sophistication to a little black dress, while the grey boots keeps it stylish and trendy. Grey pairs exceptionally with black as a soft element of interest and I'm in love! I love pair a red lip or red nails with dark neutrals as it adds an extra point of interest. This look would also be perfect with a bold lip to match the nails. I'm also loving shirt dresses, they are so versatile and easy to wear. They are perfect with coats, rushed mornings and for work.

Blazer: H&M (similar here and here)
