Summer Style Report
Hey lovelies! I’m thrilled that it is actually starting to
feel like summer in Western Canada! This means I can break out the cute summer
outfit I’ve been saving since forever!
These are some of my favorite trendy items for this season
and some great picks for summer vacations outfits!
I’ve also been getting inspiration from a blue and white
pallet that corresponds to the blue summer skies we have been seeing. Summer is
the time to pull out your baby blues and all your brightest pieces!
This summer we are seeing the off-the-shoulder trend
continue and I think it looks so effortless yet, chic and put together. It is a
great summer vacation staple. This summer I loved thin vertical stripes on
off-the-shoulder tops and many stores carry are this:
We are also seeing lots of burgundy this summer and although
it is normally a fall/winter colour, it is such a vibrant colour for summer
(which is amazing because its my favourite colour).
Matching separates are still very popular and is a very
simple paring for the summer. They are great for those days where you do not
know what to wear and want to look put together. It’s like not trying, but
still looking like you put some thought into your outfit. What is great about
these set outfits are that that are also extremely versatile. They can be pared
together or apart.
Summer obviously screams beaches and tanning.
Bikinis used to be a practical and obvious item to bring to the beach, but it
has become a trendy piece with retailers offering a variety of fun styles. I’m
loving this one shown above as it is like a modern take on a vintage 60’s
bikini.
