How To Wear Monochromatic

How To Wear Monochromatic

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk all about the trend monochromatic. I am obsessed with this trend and for many reasons.

One reason why I love is trend so much is because anyone can pull it off. Using a neutral pallet, this modern look is easily pulled off using staples already in your closet.

For starters, black is a staple for many and an all black look does not look dull, pairing the correct structures and textures together makes this contemporary outfit look effortless and very sophisticated. This is easily done with a pair of black booties, black skinny jeans and a black t-shirt. Top it off with a black jacket of choice and you'll look super chic (and it will look like you put more effort into your outfit than you actually did).

If your feeling a little more risky try using a white or a nude pallet. It's risky enough to look different, but not too eye catching. Whoever said that you can't wear white pants after Labor Day has really got it all wrong. White pants pair very nicely with winter coats, but maybe white should not be worn on rainy days. Pairing camel colours has been very popular lately and is very classy when paired right.

If you are feeling bold and you want to stand out, I'd personally would go for a pant-suit in a jewled-tone colour. A royal blue blazer and royal blue pants paired with a white bow-tie blouse are sure to turn heads.

Thanks for stopping by! What which way would you wear it? I'd love to know!

Winter Wardrobe Essentials Every Busy Girl Needs

Winter Wardrobe Essentials
It's almost Winter time and although I am not a fan of the cold, I love the transitions of seasons! this means that I can incorporate new pieces into my everyday style! I can finally bring out that pea coat that I've been waiting almost a year to wear!

The weather is going to be different depending on which part of the world you are from, for me, on the Pacific coast the weather does not fall past -4 degrees Celsius. Layering is a trendy way to bundle up and look like a million bucks!

An essential for this season is a warm peacoat because it will not only keep you warm, but it provides a girl touch to any outfit. Playing with a jewel-toned peacoat gives interest to a traditional grey or black one.

After a long night of watching Netflix, I usually end up rushing in the mornings. A staple I like to start with, when I have limited time in the mornings, is a white sweater, black jeans and black booties. Black and whites will match anything and I could easily pair them a ruby red coat or an emerald green jacket. This will make it seem like I tried in the morning without actually trying and can liven up the misery of the cold ;).

A black leather jacket can always add an element of toughness, and is a great layering piece. I also love a nice, sturdy black handbag for winter and almost all year long as it is great to throw all your belongs in.

Scarves are an important essential in the winter time and a fun print can pull an outfit together.

I hope this will help those early mornings!

Coral and Leopard Print

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend thus far! I love styling red tones in the fall because it brings an element of colour to a neutral outfit. Red pieces are a staple in my closet and when I'm feeling my outfit lacks colour I usually reach for red.

What I'm loving: Fall

What I'm loving: Fall
Here are a few of my current loves for fall and I have included a fall pallet of colours that are inspiring me for the season. I am loving neutrals for this season, while incorporating darker tones to give interest to an outfit.

A staple in my wardrobe this season is a trench coat. Whether it is a classic piece inspired by burberry or an effortless chiffon drappy one from Forever 21, it is a must have for the Autumn season.

Booties are a necessity for fall as it elevates a casual outfit by giving off an aurora of "I tried today," without trying!

New loves for this season, are midi skirts and turtlenecks. Although they have been trending for quite sometime now, I'm loving the classy vibes turtlenecks and midi skirts provide.

Leopard print and plaid are classic prints for fall as well as the rest of the year. The give an outfit an extra element of uniqueness.

Happy Fall Shopping!

Sincerely,
