My favourite look for at the moment are cute simple dresses with careful attention to detail. This dress hugs all the right curves and its appreciation for details makes this delicate piece a statement of its own. I love the subtle bows that hold the dress in place and adds an interesting focal point yet also practical. I styled this dress with a classic black Saint Laurent clutch and black booties. This is the perfect evening look as the tights add a layer of warmth for the chilly evenings.

This outfit gives a nod to the moods of spring -- from the lively floral blooms to the cold thundering rainy days. As much as spring is about the introduction of pastels into your wardrobe, it is a great time to experiment with vibrant pops of colour and this adorable Strathberry number does a job well done at that. As a lover of neutrals and monochromatic looks, a bright pop can brighten up a miserable day with its bold spirit. The character of spring tends to throw curveballs in its weather patterns; thus, this transition period between winter to summer does not provide room for adorable flowy dresses to live up to its full potential.

Spring and Things

This post is inspired by the pastel pallet of the spring season and the evergreens of the Pacific Northwest.

Blush pink has become one of my favourite colours and as I have gotten older, I have regain my admiration towards pinks. My current wardrobe pallet consist of neutrals -- light greys, creams and blush pinks. Blush pink is the girl boss colour. The perfect way to add a feminine touch to a pant suit and a classic neutral in replacement of whites and blacks.

Ruffles, Romance and Silver Hardware

Hey there darlings!

It may be May, but my thigh high boots are here to stay!

Although boots are a fall and winter staple, they are absolutely perfect carried on into the spring months. (I love them in general, so I will find any excuse to wear them!) They are the perfect transition and evening staple. As the weather gets warmer during the afternoons, it still tends to cool during the evenings and living on the Pacific Northern Coast, it does not get 'hot' until mid-June. This means I can wear my Spring items a full season.

A flowy spring dress is perfect paired with thigh high boots as it gives off a modern, glamorous girly-girl look. I also love carrying my look in to the evening and these boots are the perfect staple to transition my day-wear into night-wear.
