Desk Details

Hello lovelies! If you know me, you know how much I love my desk accessories and creating a really fun aesthetic.

I'm obsessed with metal hardware so obviously I have to have gold scissors right? I bought these from Marshall's, but I also love this one for Anthropologie. 

I think what makes your space lively are fresh florals. Most of the time is spent at my desk, whether it be for school or blogging. Fresh flowers just bring an element of texture and life to a space. My favourites are hydrangeas, because they are super full and they last long. 

When I moved into this space, what was super important was making sure my decor had a space and that they could all compliment each other. The most important thing about buying trinkets is really buying things that you love. Just like clothes, I buy trinkets that represent me to add personality to my spaces. By doing that, my desk space constantly keeps me inspired. I also love this white canvas for the same reason, I can change it up through the seasons and it helps to place emphasis on my belongings

I also love adding quotes and art to keep me motivated. As most of my work is at my desk, it's nice to have a really calming aesthetic and a cute little reminder of positivity. I love the minimalistic look of not hanging my art and freely laying my prints against the wall. A super chic look would be layering different heights of framed quotes and pictures on or beside your desk. Rifle Co. does a lot of great prints as I particularly love this one and this one. Oh! It's really important that your living space should represent you and different aspects of your personality. I decorate my space in a way to ensure that my creative juices are flowing and making it a space I get ecstatic to work in.
