Romantic Fringe and Dark Layers

Can we just take a minute to admire this beautiful sweater from Club Monaco? I love it so much, that I happen to own it in two colours. I have always been a huge fan of subtle feminine details and the top does not disappoint. I have been loving the feather/fringe trend for seasons now and I have yet to score the perfect feather skirt, but this sweater is fulfilling my feather desires. 

I love scoring finds like these because it adds something unique and girly to my wardrobe. It is simple enough to be worn under a wool coat and black denim and can be totally dressed with a pencil skirt and heels. I love how it adds an element of texture, without making the outfit too glam. The brown Chloe bag adds a perfect touch of earthy tones to make this look more casual.

The Ultimate Leather Jacket

Hey there lovlies! Lets talk about leather jackets.

I think that a leather jacket is a must have in every girl's wardobe. Its versatility and timelessness makes it not only the perfect staple year round, but it also is the perfect layering piece to edge up and outfit. My favourite cut is the biker style; due to its masculinity and edgy details, it is the perfect contrast to feminine dresses and skirts (we all know how I LIVE for that perfect skirt).

I personally own my fair share of leather jackets, all in different styles. My favourites are, but not limited to, an aviator style weather jacket (shown here); a fitted biker jacket; and an oversized biker jacket (as shown in this photo story). I am also a huge fan of a jewelled-tone biker jackets as well as velvet ones to add some interest to an outfit. Leather jackets are a comfortable layer as well as an item that adds character to an outfit. I've fallen in and out of love with them throughout the seasons as my style has changed, but they have always remained a staple.

Oversized sweaters are perfect for those casual days running errands, but can also be dressed up with a cute bag and booties. I especially love the pearl embellished sweaters that I've seen a lot of in stores and amongst other bloggers. Hey there lovelies! Recently I have been loving the added textures derived from layering coats on top of fun jackets. As the temperature falls below zero, the added styling element not only keeps me warm, but also looks super chic. This way I can still put my spring jackets to good use as well as stay toasty. This black coat has been worn repeatedly and is so versatile. A small pop of teal and gold from the hardware provides an added colour element.

Girly Ruffles and Luxe Faux Fur

Hey there lovelies! I have been living for ruffles recently. They add the perfect feminine touch to an outfit and add a delicate element. I love the prolonged trend of ruffles as an extension of my summer wardrobe. I snagged this gorgeous number during the holiday sales at The Bay (by Karl Lagerfeld).
