Lets Play with Different Structures - Flare and Asymmetrics

Hello lovlies! Now that the weather is getting colder, I'm super excited add layers and fun structures to my outfits. My style has changed through out the years, but I've always had an interest in angular and asymetrical pieces. Recently, I have focused much of my attention to higher quality fabrics, but affordable finds that are unique. My logic when buying items is how they would go with everything else that I own and how it is different.

The key proponent when playing with different structures is styling it among basics. Let the asymmetric hem lines and angular shoulders do all the talking.

How to Rock a Monochromatic Look

Hey lovelies! One of my most favourite pairings is an all black outfit with a pop of red. It's simple, sleek and of course very chic. It's my go-to for days I want to look put together, and the days I can't seem to find anything to wear. I could wear black everyday if I could. Ha!

I lived in this sweater all of winter and fall and I'm super excited to be wearing it agian. My tip for pulling off a monochromatic look is adding small pops of colour (a fun lip or a fun nail colour), and playing with different structures and textures.

Bows and Burgundy

Hey lovelies! Here is some Monday inspiration to fuel the week's creative juices!

Isn't it kind of awesome when you've had certain pieces forever, but never though about pairing them together and when you do, they all fit amazingly together. That was the basis of this look. Ive had most of these items for a while, but never though about pairing them together until now.

Girl On the Go - Black Fringe and Lizard Print

Hey lovelies! You know those days when you pick the perfect outfit, you have good hair, and your eyeliner went on perfectly? Yep, Those days are what I live for. The days where my eyeliner messes up (most days), I still like to fill my day with little touches of joy - like picking up some fresh flowers, getting lattes, and or pick up some macarons. You can make your own day special buy picking out the cutest outfit for yourself or wearing a luxe lipstick. It is the little things in life that make us really appreciate how fortunate we are.

Bottoms: Forever 21
Jacket: H&M (Zara has an amazing selection of military-inspired Blazers - love thisthis, this and this)

Not So Average

Hey lovelies! We are dressing up some basics today and giving the typical t-shirt and jeans combo a little sass. I've been living in statement sweater and t-shirts lately. Sometimes comfort is compromised with style, but that doesn't have to be the case! I've been attracted to sweaters and t-shirts that have elements of interest, but are still totally comfortable! Loving this adorable number with a pop of bow detailing on the back.

Here are some of my picks for the not so average t-shirt/sweater for fall:
