Sunday's are for Brunch and Darling Tweeds

Hey there lovelies!

My go to chic look is styling a fun blazer along side an all black ensemble. A black canvas is perfect when trying to style a statement piece like this super fun tweed blazer. It enables me to play with textures and colours and have the blazer be the main focal point. Blazers are perfect for days that I want to be comfortable and casual, but I still desire a put together look.

Here are a few other blazer options that I'm obsessed with:

Shades of Neutral

Hey there darling,

We are going a little more casual for today's photo story. Here and there I like to tone down the glam a bit and pair items together that are a little more casual. I love throwing on a pair of black skinny jeans and biker jacket and classic handbag and call it a day. Today was one of those days, a casual Saturday with a lovely pair of thigh highs and a latte to go.

Today's pairing is perfect for the days you want to look styled and polished, but you're out and about running errands all day. As much as I love dressing up, there are times when I also like dressing down. This is the in-between outfit, you'll never catch me in sweatpants and a hoodie, but more likely in a biker jacket and a pair of ripped denim.

Here are my outfit details:

Top: H&M
Jacket: Banana Republic (also love this, this and this)
Bottoms: H&M
Boots: Marc Fisher
Ring(s): Oak + Fort (also love thisthis and this); H&M (similar here)

Ruffle Sleeves and Denim

Happy Wednesday lovelies!

Who is still on the ruffle sleeve train because I still am! I love the subtle detail ruffle sleeves and bell sleeves add to an outfit. They add a sophisticated famine touch, and a great staple for spring. Detailed sweaters were one of my staples for winter and I'm carrying them over to spring for those chilly days/nights. Now that I do not need to layer warm parkas, I can showcase the beautiful details on cute ruffle sweaters and let them be the centre of attention.

Sleek & Chic - Denim and Chloe

Hey there lovelies! Happy Monday! The First Monday of April!

Fall and spring are my favourite times of year. For me, it is the best time of year to get a little fancier with your outfits, without it being too hot or too cold. I'm so happy that I can loos a few layers and not have to bundle up, so my fun blazers and statement pieces can get all the attention. I'm bringing in a ton of staples from winter to transition into my spring ware. Tights are great for this time of year as it adds an extra layer of warmth for those chilly spring days.

I lived in blazers for the all and I'm bringing them back into my spring wardrobe. I love the classy elements a structured blazer brings to an outfit. This chambray top goes perfectly with it as it tones down the business vibes and makes the look more casual. The brown whole bag channels spring and I love pairing denim and brown together.

Here are my outfit details:

Top: Dynamite (similar here)
Skirt: Aritiza

Blushing Pink and Bright Whites

Hey there lovelies! Today's photo story embodies spring.

I'm totally crushing on blush pink and greys this season. Lauren Conrad clearly had the correct mindset when she branded her Instagram filter with blush pink years ago. I'm finally realizing what a sophisticate and feminine colour it is. It pairs perfectly with greys and whites and even blacks. Grey is another colour I'm loving. It's your in-between colour that pairs perfectly with pastels. These two are your subtle neutrals that you can never go wrong with. I am defiantly filling my spring and summer with more pinks and greys.

Here are my outfit details:

Top: Club Monaco (also in love with this one)
Coat: Forever 21 (similar here and here)
Bottoms: Joe Fresh (similar here)
Shoes: Call It Spring (similar here)
