I'm loving this classic look. For a while I have been missing that perfect faux leather skirt in my wardrobe and I finally found the perfect one. Leather skirts are so versatile and can be paired with so many things. I had one years ago but grew out of it and I am so happy I found one that fills that missing void in my wardrobe! I have a soft spot for an all black monochromatic outfit, so touches of leather are a perfect way to play with textures rather than colour.

Grey Wonder - Darling Ruffles and Soft Greys

Hey there lovelies! Happy Sunday! I hope you love this outfit as much as I do! This is my go-to outfit for errands and shopping trips.

A chic outfit does not mean you have necessarily have to compromise your comfort. I'm all about a comfy-chic outfit -- something you can throw on in a hurry, but also not constraining. I love flowing dresses and wool coats for this reason. Shift dresses and or flow dresses are perfect when you want to be stylish and comfortable and you don't really have to think too much about bottoms! Wool coats are also perfect way to add style and a chic-appeal to your outfit. Wool coats are sophisticated and modern.

Living a Dream - Pinstripe and Black Mesh

Hey there lovelies! 

I'm obsessed with this outfit. I've been wearing this black coat non-stop as it goes perfectly with everything. Its just such a staple in my wardrobe and is definitely a must-have item for this season. As it is so heavy and oversized, a perfect contrast to it is a fitted skirt paired with a cute blouse or camisole. This is my go-to style when I wear over-sized layers -- I love wearing fitted items underneath. Can we also take a minute to admire this adorable pinstripe skirt? It is so feminine and chic and I love how perfect it pairs with black.

This Black mesh camisole has also made several appearances recently. When I am shopping for staples, I love finding a trust on everyday basics. I love how the camisole adds such a simple yet chic element to the overall look.

Mixing Denims and Tweed - Telling You My Secret

Hey lovelies! Happy Monday! 

Today was one of those mornings where I simply (for the life of me) could not find anything to wear. The struggle is real, am I right? As it was a shoot day, you would think I had something planned, but the truth is... I normally do not plan my outfits. I'll let you in on my secret.. I normally pick out what I want to wear the morning of. Sometimes I pull out pieces that I want the shoot to be focused around, but I wing it as I go. I have a rack of new clothes that I can choose from to make the process easier because they are pieces I haven't shot yet, but I normally go through a bunch of outfits until one looks right and chic enough to shoot. I mean, if I'm going to be indecisive and change my mind anyway, might as well save myself the trouble and style my outfit in the morning of! HA! And yes, I do take forever to get ready.

Suede Biker Jacket and Friday Lattes

Hey there lovelies! Happy Friday! 

One of best moments during the winter months is enjoying a warm latte at a local coffee shop. I've recently discovered and fell in love with the rustic vibes of local rosters and I think is it such a great way to support a local business.
